ABOUT THE FUND

Who we are: charity fund “Active Ukraine” was created by a specialist in the field of physical culture and recreation, co-author and chief methodologist of the program of the President of Ukraine “Active Parks” Vadym Danilchenko together with like-minded people, who care about the development of physical culture in our country.

The main purpose of the fund’s activity is to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The fund collects funds for the repair of cars, drones and radio-electronic warfare systems.
Also, one of the foundations of our activity is the installation of recreational equipment and the implementation of recreational programs within the framework of the program of the President of Ukraine “Active Parks” in places where veterans are undergoing rehabilitation.

Our actions: installation of equipment for adaptive sports in military hospitals in our cities, creation of centers on the basis of hospitals for the implementation of the system of competitions among veterans. Formation of a positive motivationally adapted rehabilitation environment among our soldiers. Develop and build algorithms for working with children of different school ages, lay the fundamental foundations for the growth of physically healthy and active youth, thanks to physical education lessons.

Our like-minded people: there can be partners or people, who have joined the foundation, or ministries and hospitals.

Fund consists of:

Yehor Alekseenko – head of the fund; Deputy Head of the Department of Event Organization and Monitoring Research at the State Institution “All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health of the Population “Sports for All”.

Andriy Rebrynа – Director of the All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health of the Population “Sports for All”, Doctor of Philosophy.

Sergiy Matienko – adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine and chief project manager “Active Parks”.

Olena Govorova – Olympic bronze medalist, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration for the Implementation of Self-Governing Powers.

Georgiy Zantaraya – the first judo world champion in the history of Ukraine, Europe champion.

Taras Stepanenko – captain of the football club “ Shakhtar Donetsk” and player of the Ukraine national football team.

Denys Minin – president of the all-Ukrainian federetion STREET WORKOUT UKRAINE.
